Farm fresh eggs, hatching eggs, baby chicks and more!

We raise Black Copper, Blue Copper, and Splash Marans in a BBS pen. We breed for their beautiful dark egg color while adhering to the Standard of Perfection as much as possible. In addition to our Marans, we also have Silverudds Blue, Croad Langshan BBS, Multi Generational Olive Eggers, and heavy bloomed lines which we have named “Mystical Blooms” because the colors you can get from these eggs are nothing short of magical.   Breeds that fall inder this category will consist of Croad Langshan, Purple Copper Marans (Crosshatch lines), Dragon Bloomed Olives (Hello Darling lines),Marans BBS, and heavy bloomed olive eggers —these lines have been bred to lay eggs with a heavier than normal bloom on the egg resulting in beautiful shades of pink, mauve,  gray, lavendar, taupe, and purple tinted eggs.

During the warm months, we will have chicks and hatching eggs available. When the weather is too hot to safely ship chicks,we will not ship until the weather is safe to do so. For hatching eggs, we offer ice packs to be included with the eggs at an additional charge.

When the weather turns cold and it is no longer safe to ship chicks, we will still offer hatching eggs until it is too cold to safely ship them. This will also depend on availability as we do not use artificial lighting in our coops. We allow our hens to molt and to stop laying during the winter months. We feel it’s beneficial to their health to allow this break as nature intended.
